No, the app has only ever been in those two languages.

If you access via website you can use the translator tool on your browser.

Check your phone settings as there may be an option for you to set it to automatically translate for you. My Samsung Galaxy A72 does.

With an iPhone  or iPad you need to select the test you want to translate and a translate option may appear otherwise it’s a copy and paste job into a translation app.

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iphab4dcff1d/ios

The GVA app won’t allow me to select text off my apple devices.

Hi

There is no English option, but there's only so many topics for the app to deal with, and many of the words used are similar to their English translation. My Spanish is minimal, but I can use the app pretty well as it is.

The hardest bit was persuading my cheap phone to read the barcode!

Cheers

Hi Steve,

Just what i was thinking, people that I translate for at the hospital use the app and phone me to tell me when their appts. are.

A few years ago they always gave the name and phone number of the translator when expecting to be advised of appts. Doesn't happen now we have the app.

cheers, Janice

Thanks for all the replies, is there specific translators for hospital appointments or do we do arrange our own, I speak a bit of Spanish but not sure I'd be confident enough for a medical consultation
