Could anyone give me advice on moving personal belongings and a few small items of furniture from my house in Northern Ireland to Playa Flamenco . We are moving over to live there in a few weeks. The costs I have sourced so far seem to be very expensive. How have others found the experience?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks,

Gill.

Hi Gill.    Have you tried Countrywide Freight in Mallusk.  Heard they are good, don't do much European stuff but might put you in touch with someone who does.   Worth a shot I suppose.  Michael Lavery is the General Manager.  I'm from NI myself (Antrim) going to rent in Villamartin Area long term.  Good luck.  Patrick

Thanks Patrick. Will contact the company you mentioned, hopefully may get a lower quote.

Good luck when you move to Villa Marin.

We are in the process of emigrating and in the summer we shipped a load of stuff over with European Moving - contact s.potts@europeanmoving.org

We moved stuff from the Midlands to Torrevieja and these guys were the cheapest ( you do need to help load & unload) and they were excellent throughout.

Thanks Tony but I'm in Northern Ireland, a whole different ball game to moving from UK mainland.
