Hi Paula,

Yes it can all be very frustrating and difficult when you are in the UK and your Spanish is non existent or limited.  One of the things no one tells you about buying property in Spain!.  For anything to do with taxes we have dealt with Angar Taxation Services, they understand it all and...

... it takes away all of the stress. You will need to give them bill information but after that they will set you up a direct debit and its all taken care of.   Lots of people on this forum have used them and I havent seen a bad review yet.  It cost us about 70 euros for them to sort it all out as a one off payment which in my opinion was well worth it.

That is interesting JulieTony, thanks.

Was that fee as for full residents tax, or the intervening / early non-resident one, please? We are in the latter category for this year but next year's will be different as our arrival in October predicated. It seems very reasonable re cost.

There is a very well informed chap on here 'Herefordjack' who has also provided some very clear explanations as to tax. Definitely worth doing a search for him.

Stay well ;-)

Hi Julietony,

Thank you for this information, as soon as I'm over in Spain I shall sort it as soon as I can.

Hi Paula

The seventy euros was for Angar to visit the suma offices and sort out what was required and then pay the bill, which we sent a separate transfer for. If you just want them to make payment for you for the NRT they charge about 20 euros to handle it. It saves so much hassle and confusion snd especially as for now you can’t easily go over and try and sort it yourself even if you wanted to. Well worth the fee.

It's worth the money to ease the stress!
