Can anyone recommend some suppliers for the Playa Flamenca/La Zenia area.

As we get the keys to our house early June I would be grateful for any tips about the companies.

Hi,

Hidraqua is the water company we use. Not sure if they are the only one that cover all areas but here are the details.

Website : http://www.hidraqua.es/en/

Customer service telephone number: 902 250 270

The electrical company we use is Iberdrola but there are other choices:

Telephone number:  00 34 916 49 63 30

Website: http://www.iberdrola.es/

Gas is being piped into many areas in Spain now but it is quite a new thing for Spain with different providers - Most areas in Spain still use the bottled gas. We prefer to be all electric to save on the bother of changing gas bottles.

Hope this helps.

Jan.

If you go the Iberdrola way, pick the day night plan the cheaper night part of this is very generous and allows you to use the washing machine, heat your boiler etc. from around midnight until around mid-day depending on winter or summer. Put your hot water on a timer so you don't forget to switch on and off no need to keep it on 24 hours unless you have a very big family.
