Hi,

my neighbours are travelling to Spain in mid-Feb. They need clarity as to what is required to travel. They are just going for a few days but are concerned about getting it all right.

They have all their jabs and covid certs. As far as I know, they must complete a Passenger Locator Form. Is there something about needing a new QR code?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many are unhappy with the high Banking fees paid by non-residents in Spain. Wise is seen as one alternative. I am a Revolut customer and am wondering if anyone is using it as a workable solution for their Spanish banking needs such as paying DDs?

Throughout the whole of last year I tried to get the Covid vaccine in San Miguel but was refused 4 times by the medical centre, eventually in early December they folded and I received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, I was told that I would get a call for the second dose, that was 7 weeks ago. I have asked at the medical centre but was told to wait for a phone call. I am worried as I do not think the gap should be this long and also I cannot get a Covid passport until I am fully vaccinated and have been refused access to a few places.

Does anyone know what the normal time between doses is in Spain and in particular in San Miguel?

We’re in the process of moving into a 1980s villa in Los Balcones. 

Unfortunately we’ve now discovered that the automatic drive gates and garage door aren’t working. We called out a domestic electrical company to deal with some internal problems, but he was unable to help us with these. So any recommendations would be very much appreciated.Thank you.
