Tax bill sounds about right. Sols fees seem very high.

My tax is usually about the same as my annual sols fees. Around 70€

Given the date, and the fact that 210s are due in by the end of the year, then one has to assume that your solicitor has already submitted the return, in which case it's too late to do anything other than pay up.

For future returns, if you don't want to do it yourself, the cheapest option is to use:

Thanks for the information, could really do with changing my Solicitors later this year then

Is your fee for any other things you may need them to do or just Tax issues?

Thanks

Sharon

He does my tax and pays administers my SUMA as well. The house is solely in my name. If your property is in joint names a figure of  150€ isn't a million miles away

There's a lot of confusion about what people regard as non resident tax. Can someone advise me where I can download the form I need to pay the annual tax on my cadastral value. My solicitor did it last year and it was 19% of my cadastral value. I'd like to do it myself this year as it looks easy. I have no income in Spain.

Hi Allank,

Your solicitor will almost certainly be an expensive way of paying your Non-resident tax.  I used to use:

http://spanishtaxforms.co.uk/

It's worth remembering that, since Brexit, the Non-resident tax rate has increased from 19% to 24%.  If you want to do this yourself, you can download the Modelo 210 from Agencia Tributaria's website, but you may need a digital certificate to submit it.

Kind regards,

Kim
