It's worth remembering that, since Brexit, the Non-resident tax rate has increased from 19% to 24%. If you want to do this yourself, you can download the Modelo 210 from Agencia Tributaria's website, but you may need a digital certificate to submit it.

Thanks for that. I am aware of the organisation SpanishTaxForms and may be tempted but as a qualified UK accountant its something I'd like to do myself.
I agree with you that my solicitor is an expensive way to do it but we haven't had the house long and she did it last time without pre-notifying me.
So I want to let her know not to do it but thought I'd check out what's needed before I burn my boats.
It does seem that I will need a digital certificate and looking at the steps involved it also seems that I'll need to be in Spain to get my ID confirmed at an appropriate office.
