But they reduce the probability
So we agree, the vaccination does not prevent infection or onward transmission.

They also do not have a made up holiday the day after christmas and in most cases are back to work on the 26th.
No but they have twice as many public holiday than anywhere else, where they are all congregating in the local bars so don't come all that rubbish that they are the only ones following the rules, I was in El Campello for 5 weeks when the Fiesta should have been on and believe me they were still partying
Does anyone know if we can get the covid cert onto our phones with only one jab ?

No, It does with low viral loads. You are less likely to become infected after exposure to a low viral load if you are vaccinated and therefore less likely to transmit to others.

The words you use, "probably", "less likely". These are not definitive, they confirm that it is not a 100% means of preventing infection and onward transmission.
We agree on this, it just seems that you cannot acknowledge it.

So why are they doing this to push people into having them if they won't protect? A lot more have had them in the last few weeks due to threats of this happening. The courts in other areas refused it. The jab apparently has less protection for the new variants especially this new South Afri...

"South Africa overcome with it", I am more inclined to believe the South Africans themselves who tell a different story, a story backed by actual data rather than an agenda.

It does prevent infection and onward transmission in many cases, particularly with low viral loads.
I therefore disagree with your statement:
"So we agree, the vaccination does not prevent infection or onward transmission."

Seat belts don’t stop you dying in a car so by your reckoning none of us should wear them. It’s about reduction of transmission and preventing serious illness. But I guess that doesn’t suit your agenda

Depends on a lot of things. Only needs one who hasn't had the jab. Someone not wearing a mask at the table etc etc. I am sure majority of brits have had the jab and it's brits who book the majority all the Xmas festivities group bookings etc. Its them who could lose their celebrations if 50% occu...

The spread of Covid makes no difference if you have a jab or not. Even Boris admits this now.

A south African GP, Dr Angelique Coetzee, who has worked with patients with the Omicrom variant, says symptoms are mild.
