As others have said, I suppose if; they aren't hurting anyone, you are not in conflict with them, the easy thing to do is turn a blind eye. Whilst it is more expensive to live within the law you can at least sleep easier.

I am far from being a grass as you so call, I was asking if it's legal to live in a warehouse, poligonos and some people have answered with a polite and informative answer

Hello Legal Beagle, when we see things are not right we feel sorry for all the people that abide by the law and the ones that don't we dislike for thinking they can live for free. This person has two businesses and as far as we know hides from the law. We just wanted to know if he was allowed to live in a warehouse

I have seen several instances of people living in business premises, usually elderly Spanish people.   Not all elderly people have good pensions.   The Spanish pension system can be very hard on those who have not had good earnings during their working life and many therefore have to 'make do, and mend' as we say.

Seems a lot on here have  very little experience of how the continentals live , as mentioned earlier , in most of Europe owners of businesses and farms live in there premises or over the top of them , in France , Germany  , Netherlands , Belgium  this the norm ..!!!

So many of the Brits on here think that the   Spanish are so stupid. Be it police or tax office. That you personally have to do their job for them. Draw their attention to illegal activities that do not impact on the safety of anyone.

I don't doubt that the authorities know and will chose when and if, to do something in their own time.

Maybe you should report the Guardia Civil for drinking and driving. They drink shots with coffee. Beers at lunch time.

Please let me know how you get on with that one.

Funny you should say that..  I was just at my little bar when two police came in , one chucked their flag butt in the road before coming in door then ordered 2 beers each sank them in about 5 minutes , walked out sparked another fag up got in car and drive off ! I took their number plate down for you to report them RayD or were they legal to do this ??
