Hi everybody
Would any of you be able to steer me in the direction of a place where I can buy a cleaning product like Kilrock for descaling please? Also, what would it be called in the Spanish shops, please?

Please clarify what you want to descale - kettle, shower cubicle, gas water heater, washing machine etc.
If it's just something like a kettle, then lemon juice is effective.
You'll also find products like KH-7 antical and HG limpiador manchas de cal in ferreterias.
For white goods you can buy antical in tablet or liquid form.

For toilets etc use Salfuman which is dilute sulphuric acid. Wear a mask, push as much water out as possible, pour in the acid and leave overnight. Flush before use or you might get more than you bargained for........

It's actually hydrochloric acid, like other items labelled agua fuerte. It will certainly do the job but, as Richard says, be careful with it.
Hi Richard, thanks very much. I used to use Kilrock for general cleaning as the line scale was terrible where we lived in Wiltshire. It’s just as bad here though and I can’t find Kilrock anywhere, argh...

I used to use Kilrock for general cleaning round sinks, taps, in the toilet in order to get rid of the lime scale. It was the only thing that could shift it back where we lived in Wiltshire. The lime scale is even worse here though! I know it needs to be handled with caution but I only need a product that you can dilute with water, wipe round, leave on for a few minutes then flush away? Kilrock was brilliant for that.
