I use WISE for paying my direct debits. I could change with Iberdola and Hydra easily but my own urbanisation is not accepting the direct debit facility from WISE. They are saying it has to be a spanish bank.I have a euro account with WISE but they are based in Belgium and not in Spain. Can any one advice how do I tackle this?

Also I am finding great difficulty in logging for SUMA and Basura charges to put as D/D with WISE can any one help please??

I am having constant grief with Bankia as they do not respond to emails or tel calls if you are lucky they would pick up the phone.I have no internet access to my account with them as I Forgot my pin and my account is locked and I do not get the statements either. Only solution suggested is you have to be present at the branch physically to get the new PIN which unfortunately is not possible in the current circumstances. Once all my D/D are transferred eventually I want to close the account with them which again reading the posts looks like going to be a marathon task

I also use Wise for my direct debits, I am non resident and also have a Bankia account which I was able to completely empty, I did this following numerous emails to my branch and getting no help whatsoever, fortunately I did have online access to the account.

To try to help with a couple of your problems

Re Urb fees, I found that it was the Administrator's bank that wouldn't accept the Wise IBAN number, they gave me the bank details for the urbanisation and now when the fees are due in January and July I just do a normal transfer from my Wise account to the Urb account, in other words, forget paying it by direct debit as it is only twice per year, not sure if yours is ?

Re your Suma issues, visit this link you may be able to obtain log in info and direct debit set up, it is in English, there is a chat facility and helpline phone number.

Hope some of this will help you ?

To unblock your internet access proceed as follows: on log-in type your access ID and then tap "forgot my password or account blocked". A new screen will pop up - tap "recover my password" and confirm. You will receive a call on your cellphone with a recorded message of your password. DO NOT HANG UP, no need to respond, your account will be unblocked THIS TIME, so you will have to repeat this procedure whenever you want to access your account..

Hi Ken.... Your advice on unblocking the Bankia account was helpful..... But if she's not in Spain they won't SMS or ring her on a UK mobile..... to send her the confirmation number..... Lillian

Hi Lilian

I don't think that I said anything about codes or unblocking from Bankia in my above post.

Maybe another poster ?
