Next time we travel I will use Randox. We followed the NI guidelines and paid !88 x 2 fir the dsy 2 tests and did the tests, posted 12 miles away in their priority post box and HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD FROM THEM.   WHAT A WASTE OF OUR GOOD MONEY. ...NO RESULT, nothing. What is it all about? Dou...

...bly vaccinated, antigen test before departing and still expected to waste our money. We could have easily had a test carried out locally for free.
Rant over! .

I used Randox for my tests so I was able to quote the reference number on the locater form to exit Spain.  I waited for a negative antigen test before ordering, They took 5 days to arrive and no one. Checked my day 2 test  was done  anyway. Waste of money.

Thanks Billy Wendy 1 for update. Just what I thought although I think the Scottish government is ripping us off. Hopefully things go back to some form of normal soon.

Well of course you must do what you feel ,il be buying test through Randox ,as we are entering UK through the port of Dover ,and then travelling to Scotland  ,if theres a problem  il need to address that problem  ,I've still had no reply to my question on monopoly of 2& 8 day tests for arrival back in Scotland  by a singular company ,I did recieve a link today regarding vaccination  status ,and that would not accept the username given to me by NHS Scotland, I think SNP competency is called into question

Not Scotland, but when flying back to England i used Randox, then if you put in the code of your airline (in my case Ryanair2021) you get a further discount. The 2 day test, arrived after 5 days. It then has to be returned via numerous drop off points within 72 hours, and is sent to County Antrim. I got emailed the following day with a positive covid test result (i had covid whilst in Spain). Yet was testing negative in Spain before returning and have been testing negative via antigen tests since i got back to UK. The NHS trace have been onto me, telling me i now have to self isolate again, after self isolating in Spain (no-one called me in Spain), they stated you can test positive on PCR for 90 days. Puts me off travelling, but i am due back in Spain shortly after my second self isolation ends. I long for the days when travel only involved delayed flights, kids screaming on planes, exorbitant prices during school holidays and stag parties heading for Benidorm.
