I wondered whether it was retaliation against the French for not recognising the Indian manufactured AZ vaccine, even though Spain does?

We should all write to our UK MPs - even those who no longer have property there should write to the MP for the last constituency they lived in, as that's where you'll be registered to vote. Unfortunately, my constituency MP is Michael Gove, so I probably won't get a reply, but at least it gave me an excuse to point out yet another hypocrisy of the current government.

I have just done it exactly as I described above, all completed within 2 minutes and downloaded the certificate with my details, vaccination details, and QR code at the top right hand side.
It was easy, it wasn´t even necessary to translate it really, it was so straightforward.

I have just learned that you cannot use some IPhones/IPads for this if it does not work I guess it maybe that you are running an old IOS which you can no longer update which then makes it not secure, no problem with android or pc/laptop.

How would Alex know what may benefit someone and not others and so set up “so one doesn’t see helpful topics” - or am I reading it incorrectly?

A SIP card is a personal and non-transferable card that allows you to access the national Spanish Healthcare System. Once you have your SIP card you will be entitled to receive the same health service benefits as Spanish nationals.

If your a Spanish resident under retirement age you may have private health insurance and can apply for a temporary SIP card to get access to the COVID vaccination system. After one year I believe you can apply for a permanent SIP card.

In my case as I was receiving the UK State Pension and applied before stupid brexit transition period finished I transferred my health rights from the UK by applying for an S1 certificate and applied for temporary SIP card which should become permanent at end of August.

Look up expatsmagazine.org and expat-services.es or Anglo info.com
