Kenneth, that sums up exactly my previous point. When we sold our Ford privately our lawyer took over all the sale and it went as sweet as a nut. Some second hand car dealers are possibly from the same gutter as several estate agents!

Hi there, couple yrs hoping to move over with the misses,allready brought up this query but, how much is it to convert a English lhd car in Spanish plates, I've got my nie number,a car that that has easily available spares, (I can fit, it was my trade) I fancy buying over here as more understanding, any experiences of the same would be welcome, thanks

Leigh imported my UK car last September. He was spot on, organised ITV, road tax, the lot as well as the required swap over on light clusters that couldn't be adjusted. If you have the manufacturer's Certificate Of Conformity it will probably save you 100 euro on the process. I got one direct from Volkswagen through their website. Beware of middlemen who charge you to get the COC on your behalf.

I have a VW Beetle right hand drive with Spanish number plate for sale. the car is in a very good condition. in November 2019 I drove the car to the UK which is still with me, and I planed to take it back to Spain in March. unfortunately due to the Lock down ( COVID-19) I could not take it back but I am hoping to drive it back soon as the lock down will ease. It is a very good car has ITV (MOT untill end of October fully insured and good and comfortable run. I am planing to drive it back to Costa Blanca very soon.

Warmb50 Here some photos .From our neighbours ,they went back to Holland..Should the trunk be a little bigger i'll keep this nice car for myself.New battery,almost new tires, Severall maintenance invoices (oil ,water ) From 2010 133.000 km .. They were obsessed to keep it well maintained ,garage in Guardamar ... Regards ps Left hand steer
