It would help if you told us the name of your friend and when "The Bar" closed down. I've been in La Marina for years and don't remember this name.
Kenneth1 The Bar used to be on the left hand side, at the bottom of the steps as you went down the steps by Palm Tree bar in Consum square. It changed hands a couple of years ago.

Thank you, I know the place but can't remember"The Bar". It was also known as The George for many years, then The Pub, Rock Pub and I think it was called Eva's Bar before it closed permanently. 🍺🍷

I stand corrected it was The Pub not The Bar and yes it was Eva’s Bar until recently.
