everyone is in a panic about the coronavirus (officially renamed COVID-19 by the World Health Organization), there's an even deadlier virus many people are forgetting about: the flu.

Flu season is hitting its stride right now in the US. So far, the CDC has estimated (based on weekly influenza surveillance data) that at least 12,000...

... people have died from influenza between Oct. 1, 2019 through Feb. 1, 2020, and the number of deaths may be as high as 30,000.

Get a grip people !!!

Flu kills an enormous number of people each year, it's actually staggering. Mostly, people with other underlying illnesses or issues. Flu is what they call endemic; it's in the population and it can't be gotten rid of.

Coronavirus is much like a flu virus, I think technically it is a flu virus. If it can't be eradicated it too will become endemic and most likely kill more than the regular flu virus. So... At least double the number of people will die each year.

That's the point. It's about trying to stop it from becoming endemic.

That coronavirus has so far killed way less than the regular flu is irrelevant.

You can't. I've borrowed it. But..... It's not efective with the mask covering it's head. It saves the thumb, but does'nt quite hit the nail. V

The walking dead are already here.

Did you watch gogglebox last night? Always a good watch 🤣 government advice is to cough and sneeze into a tissue then throw it in the bin! 🤦🏻‍♂️ What else would you do with it? Put it back in the dispenser??

Enough of these lavatorial comments, and it's lavatory paper NOT bog roll.

& now I have learned after all these years. I thought the "bog roll" or lavatory paper were used only for UK poor people without a bidet, shower, bath or close-by river. The ancient Romans cleaned their nether-regions, years before the Mirror or Guardian newspapers were nailed to the out-side water-closet shed, & were only continued by puppy advertisement companies trying to clear the rain-forests or blocking up septic tanks. I always wondered why those "hygienic" paper rolls, never fitted the kitchen paper roller.
