Hi, I only read your problems as the 1st OP. & not aware until reading it.

I answered others (also after reading your post). I have answered as a past customer, used them & been satisfied in my experience & other´s I have heard. I maintain my own pool at home and have for some years etc.

I used this Company under their other name- Brits and Mortar in 2016 after a goto frio smashed up our solarium. As they kept me waiting to do the job (3000€ renewal of solarium and replace 140 roof tiles) they could only replace our cracked roof tiles before I returned to UK intending to return and renew solarium on next visit. Only one guy turned up with differrent colour tiles(pink not buff) all splattered with black spots on and no ridge tiles which they knew were also needed. Thankfully I had a few spares in garage. I had to let him do job as it was October and not returning till spring but very unhappy with the awful look of the tiles. I paid him and on further inspection discovered he had only "placed" the ridge tiles on ridge without cement. I immediately rang their office and was informed he couldnt return and anyway they had not quoted for ridge tiles so didnt need to do them. I was disgusted, a female 66yrs, I was left to do the job myself making mortar, clamberring on the roof etc (hate heights) to cement them down or they,d have blown off on the first windy day, and I definitely didnt use them for the solarium next visit. DON'T use them.

Unfortunately I then had a case of frying pan to fire, after finding it difficult to get a local builder, I contracted Ged Dobbs(or Gerald Dobbs/Dobson) who lives in San Bartolome(Rojales) to undertake the solarium renewal. What a mistake, he left me with more leaks through to storeroom underneath than I had before he did the job. Our ceiling plaster eventually collapsed down and he,s ignored the need for repair, took 3000€ off me for a crap job, uneven tiling, uneven joints, even used interior tiles which I only discovered after paying another workman to redo the job wasting a further 3000€ a year later. He used to advertise on this forum but was removed and even though we went to his home to surprise him to complain months later (over 100kms away) he still didnt do the repairs. He does advertise apparrantly on other websites though I,ve never seen him, definitely DON'T use him. I couldnt denounce him as he,s not legal another Brit robbing Brits. I have become so disallusioned with trying to get good workmen in my area and now hate getting anyone in to do a job. Please tread carefully when you use these two useless people as you will probably regret it.

Thank you for your input I have just looked on the website for Brits and Mortar and low and behold Adrew Morton is also a director of that company aswell as the pool people......that answers a lot of questions and is very useful...…….thank you

Replace the locks in the door. It won't come to much.

There are lots of pool people. I wound sign in to any contract woth anyone.

yes, they operate both companies, I contacted them by an ad in a weekly free inland magazine, but everytime I telephoned their office, it was answered as "Hello, Pool people speaking" Same company 2 names to cover wider range of jobs. May even have more names, perhaps.

Did you ask to have their complaints book to make an official complaint?......Andrew Morton was apparently a loan shark in the uk before moving to Spain......hardly surprising, he' s still a shark.........

Val, after paying for the roof tile replacements I didnt have any contact with them again.

I've used them for over 5 years for pool maintenance and been satisfied with the service received, there's been the odd blip but nothing serious and it always been sorted to my satisfaction. We had our pool re-tiled by them in February 2015 and it's been fine, no problems at all.  Hope that helps.
