QR code is automatic when you complete form online. It gives you the QR code on your phone, you just present this at Spanish side airport.

We just filled ours in on the morning we were leaving because e we’re having problems prior to that. QR code comes through almost immediately. I downloaded the app rather than fill it in directly from the website.

The SPTH is no longer necessary, as long as you have A Digital Covid Certificate. Check their website. But if you decide to do it, start it now and you can complete it 48 hours before travelling. The last part will take the most of 3 minutes to complete.

I arrived 6 April...SPTH scanned at Alicante airport..

Yes, that would be correct. The change took effect on the 7th

You can do the Spanish locator form using your I pad. If you go to Gov. U.K. under “ entry requirements” there is a link that takes you to the Spanish site
Also we have to renew our vaccination certificate as they are out of date after 30days!
