If you need help getting your NIE sorted i charge €45 pp, not because i do the job any different just because i like to be fair to both of us.

Hi Webber56, if your in the UK at present, why not get your NIE through the Spanish consulates there? I did mine years ago at the Consulate in Manchester. just go on line read up on what they require, (if memory serves me right, it was completed forms, Passport and proof of ownership in Spain) from first contacting them to getting appointment and collecting NIE documents it took about 3 days and wasn't that expensive. NIE forms can be downloaded from their site.
