Nice to see the topic is staying polite.
Ref drinking to that, I saw a daft question the other day:
"How long does it take a man to open a bottle of beer?"
Silly and pointless question - it should be open when she brings it.

I cannot understand why the ADMIN has allowed the Political rants that have recently appeared. I fail to see what help these could possibly be to the readers. They should be removed without comment. There is no 'politics' heading or title .

I agree Jim. I don't even mind "personal opinion", so long as it's backed up with sources.
Unfortunately, we've had a spate of bad behaviour from a very small number of members whose sole purposes was to insult anyone who didn't agree with their opinion. Since Alex has banned the worst offender, cordial service has resumed! 👍😃...

Kind regards,

I agree it is very difficult to discuss Covid related issues without a political perspective creeping in and I agree if an opinion is stated in a political context it should be backed up by facts or sources. Falling out with people over any issue on this forum is counter productive if you consider the purpose of the forum and making comments about the Uk or Spanish governments ( although perhaps founded) is only going to annoy people who are already frustrated by lockdown. If one has a helpful fact that shows government E.g. in bad light and sources to support it then that may be ok but still worth considering whether it is helpful or not.

Jim, Correct. And it should be chilled from the fridge , already opened, poured into a glass and handed over on a tray.
😂
Only joking Ladies, in reality it is more than likely me who would be doing the personal Waiter touch in fear of 🤜 😣
' I know my place ' !
Ooooh, now wasnt there a 1960s John Clease, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett sketch based on that statement. In black and white too.
I remember my Dad telling me about it. 😏
