Oh boy. I think this may be a wind up. Nonetheless, I'll take the bait.
'The Spanish government has stated that they will make every effort to ensure the situation with Brits will not change. We are in Moraira and there are so many Brits here they would not be stupid enough to make it difficult. '
Great, but the deal will not be between the UK and Spain it will be between the UK and the EU. Spain will abide by EU law and EU requirements - whatever they may be.
'I read at the weekend that many wealthy Brits are buying in Spain as they fear a Labour government more than they fear Brexit..'
Mail on Sunday? How many is 'many'? What evidence do they have for this? What relevance is this?
'The only negative effect that I can see is the fall in the pound so money transferred to Spain buys less Euros.'
Do you mean the fall in the pound that has happened or do you expect further falls? Some commentators suggest that currency adjustments were needed and not really much to do with potential aspects of Brexit. Of course, your Euros will buy you more pounds, so if you expect further falls in the pound put your money in a Euro account. Falls in the pound make British exports more competitive.
