Hi Cazzie, do you drive, if so there are a couple of places on La Marina Urb that do Spanish lessons from beginers upwards, also why not put a shout out on one of the local radio stations and see if you get a positive response from anyone listening.

Thank you for you reply.  I love Santa Pola - lucky you.  My favourite place there is Cafe Paris so we have two meet up locations.  Hope to see you soon.

Hello,

I have only just seen your reply as my emails were going to Spam and have not been on the forum for over a week. It is encouraging to hear you like Santa Pola.  We will definately meet up once I am down there for good. I look forward to it. Thank you for the recommendation.

See you soon

Hello, I will be moving to Santa Pola, a 15 minute bus ride away from Elche, in the Spring. I will give you a call to go for coffee once I am there if you would like to meet up. I know Elche well as I lived there for a short period ten years ago. I hope you enjoy it there.

Sally

Hi Sally ,have you moved to Santa Pola yet.? I will be moving to Elche in the next few weeks, if you have I hope it went well. Be nice to keep in touch,as we are not too far away.

Lisa

Hello Lisa,

Thank you for getting in touch. I was in Santa Pola last week and after only two days there had to come back for an emergency. I will be moving there permanently in about a month's time. I will definately be in touch to meet up. We are so close together it should be really easy. I look forward to it.

Sally

Like you we are finding the language hard but we get by. My husband and I are retired and living in Elche which we love. We like to go out and sit just watching and listening. We are from the UK.

Hi Sally,   I hope everything’s ok now..its lovely to hear back from you. My moving date is going to be beginning of June,we are moving from Llanelli in west wales, I am near enough all packed up and ready, just trying to sort out a removal company.  I’m at the point now I can’t wait to get there, and start our new life. We drove to Santa Pola when we were there and it is really close, so hopefully, yes it would be nice to meet up. The house we are buying is close to  Perleta, which looks nice, got a cafe, supermarket and restaurants there. Hope everything is going well with your move, will you be working when you get there or are you retired?  Look forward to meeting up with you.

Lisa.

Hi cazzie. I think I have sent you a message before. I am in my new home in Los pinos and am a bit stuck finding any taxi that will come to this area. Can you suggest anything?  My mum needs to get to the airport tomorrow and I am a bit concerned. If you would message me back please. Thanks x

Hi Heather, hope you are well. We have just moved to Perleta in Elche last week, it would be lovely to be in touch with other brits as we don’t know anyone at all. How do you like living here,? It seems a lovely place, still finding our feet at the moment tho,but all good. Hope to hear from you.. Lisa.
