Thank you for the clarification. This started off with a bit of lighthearted banter, but as seems the norm these days, it’s manipulated to be about B*****. It is so bloody tedious. I wish that those who wish to continue banging on about it would start their own new threads with the opener being “Warning B*****”. I could be sure to give it a miss🤪🥂

Just for the record, I actually "exited" before anyone wanted to even think to pop a "Br" in front of exit & in the days of the Peseta. Before anyone calls someone who wishes to remain in the EU a "remoaner" I had no rights to vote in any UK referedum or any UK votes. But; as a European; I have democratic rights to voice my opinion, or not to be categorized as a socialist (loony or otherwise) as I am, certainly not "left". There are many here living in Spain (on both sides of the spectrum), whose lives were not considered eligible to vote, or even interested in UK politics, although it MAY influence our lives. Hence, all our opinions are valid. If that is a "rant" considered as done. Now where's the white man tannoy today?😇🙏.V

Firstly, I do get pi##ed off listening to people ranting on about brexit and moaning because you lost.. tough ...

Democracy is democracy, you don’t keep having a referendum until you get the result you wanted, it was a one off vote for the all of the uk, not just parts of it.I already pointed out in my opinion that I didn’t care to much either way.

Secondly.I don’t live in spain..

Thirdly . I don’t think it will make much difference to anyone wanting to move to spain in the future, expats and holiday makers contribute 10% to the spanish economy year after year, it’s not in Spain’s interest to spoil that. I will point out I have a spanish lawyer looking into residency for me and it’s fairly straight forward.

Fourth. The uk are still trying to negotiate with the eu to get a deal, there is at present no deals with the USA,Canada,China ,Japan or Timbuktu’s or anywhere else.

Fifth. I really do hope the chap in the white van picks up loads of scrap metal and enjoys his evening/day.

If it was the same one that went around Gran Alacant they were advertising an upholstery business.  I think you could stop them and they would come to your home or make an appointment.
