We've already heard from our administrators and president, our pool is to remain closed too many rules to be applied, very hard to implement.

Same here, looks like the cost of trying to implement all the safety guidelines is just too high. So they may not open this season.

Managing and Enforcing the Rules on the opening our Community pool we believe will be a burden - financially and physically

Would LOVE to go in our pool.  It looks so inviting, but would rather wait and know it’s safe, than risk getting ill.  Be patient folks.  It’ll happen when the time’s right.

Our urbanisation was mostly spanish and we have never had loungers around the pool( which I would have liked). The Spanish cool down in a pool but we relax by it enjoying the sun and swimming.  The pool is maintained the same as all others eg chorine. We have a wide set of steps at the shallow end and 2 exits at the deep end.  Surly, we could close off the 2 sets of steps and exit from the wider steps,  as for the shower, it is a one touch automatic system.  The chorine in the pool would cleanse the hand.

The whole thing is chaotic and over the top. That’s only my view but a few bacterial sprays beside the shower knob could be used after touching ( oh no, what about the bacterial spray? It too would need to be cleansed). There is no answer.

As Nicola notes, the official guidelines are very challenging. My development has a small pool, and our Administrators are quoting an additional cost of €3K per month to comply with them.

They are ALL mad.

Total panic. It would be better to encourage everyone to stay in their urbs and use the pool thus saving madness at the beach! For €3 thousand you could pay somebody to oversee the area daily fir a few months.

What are all you people going to do?  No 🏊‍♂️ swimming in your pool and an appointment needed to go onto the beach. Almost as bad as lockdown.
