Hi ,Just had a text and an email from Ryanair with a link to claim refunds for both flights ,(outward and return) . Monies will be refunded to the card I used.

Ryanair gets a lot of stick on forums but unlike BA, easyjet and I think Jet2 the claim was easy and I didn't have to hang onto the phone for hours to try to get a refund.

Well done Ryanair

Oh yes Ryanair, I received a email from them 2 weeks ago and yes it was easy to claim my refund, But I am still waiting for the refund to be returned to my credit card account!!!! So good luck with that one, unless you have already received the refund. Then well done to you.

Hi

They say it can take up to twenty days before you will receive a refund and then up to five days for your bank to proccess it. Patience is a virtue..

I will check the email received, but I don’t recall reading the time scale you stated, just something about it may take time? Thank you for your reply.

Just checked email received 19th March and it stated a refund would be paid within 7 days, a second email received 26th March stating due to the high volume of communication refunds will take longer to return!!! So my reckoning I am still waiting 19 days for my refund.

No, just checked my credit card statement on line, no refund as yet from Ryanair, although I applied on the 19th March!!
