...eir insurance which you are not obliged to take if willing to risk 3rd party only. The normal practice is to hold up to €1200 incase you should have an accident. If you choose not to pay for the extra insurance, please take photographs of the car before leaving and again when you return the car as most of these firms are charging people for damage which they never caused.....we have been caught on two occasions. The last time was with CLICK RENT who took €150 off our card after we had returned the car undamaged. The amazing thing was that we had paid for their CLICK RELAX INSURANCE and still they insisted that they had the right to charge us for some fictitious damage, we contacted the disputes team from the credit card company and got our money back. All in all, if you take pictures before and after, you should be alright.

same thing happened to us although we took photos of the outside and plenty of them - we did not think to take photos of the inside. They tried to say we damaged the carpet but luckily another member of staff came to our rescue and confirmed that the damage had been done a long time and we were not responsible so please take pictures of everything
