Hi Jackie,
Where's Siestas office in La Zenia?
Hi. Park in the supermarket car park (sorry I can’t remember if it’s Mercadona or not) just before the big roundabout. There’s an Irish bar walking down towards the roundabout and a coffee shop/restaurant across from Irish bar. As you round the corner from the supermarket, it’s next door to a shop selling fancy vases, jewellery, watches etc.

Oh wow,
That’s brilliant. Didn’t realise we could do that.
Thankyou again.
Now I’ll be a pain, what about the best internet provider? Lol
Really,I have sooo many questions.
Niki
Many thanks. I know exactly where you mean.
Want to speak to them direct, not go through a comparison site as I've got a few questions.
Cheers Nick.

No problem Nick.
Niki, when we got our apartment one year ago we were signed up with Iberdrola too and we're billed nearly 40 euros a month even when we're not there! We have been trying to get on to the night plan for months now with no joy. If you open an online Iberdrola account you can 'apparently' change to the night plan but you need a Spanish mobile number as the site won't accept our UK mobile number. We had emailed and explained the problem and were sent a contract to sign and return but when we returned it, the company wouldn't accept it as the prices had changed!! If you log in, a pop up box may appear asking if you want to be phoned and you can get an english speaking person. The easiest might be to go to the office in Torrevieja if you have transport. Bottom line is that electricity is dearer in Spain than the UK and you pay whether you are there using it or not. We found we are also paying a fee for insurance of electrical goods and you can opt out of that saving 7 or 8 euros a month. Good luck.

Thankyou so much.
Sounds like a bit of a nightmare.
Think I need to get this sorted out ASAP but we aren’t over till April.
Niki
Hi Kim,
Normally the solicitor holds back a certain amount of the sell price for any open invoices. It sounds like your paying also for the previous owners electricity. You should chevk on that.
regards,
Bob
Hi Nikki,
I believe they own Scottish Power in Scotland... and are a huge utility company in the world...
Dave.
