Thanks, we are fingers crossed moving permanently in December. This is to get the house in some sort of order. We've had boxes delivery and they are still sitting in the living as last visit got due to my husband being unwell. 🤞😀 you get there, I'm sure we both will x

At present, it is important to make distinction between Mainland Spain and its Island Territories .
There are differing rules regarding travel .
Mainland Spain is looking like opening up for tourist travel by 1st July but has yet to confirm it.

I have flights booked for 26th June from Dublin and they haven't been cancelled yet. My July ones have been cancelled though
Being a resident in Spain and reading all the spanish news, there has been no discussion with the UK about holiday makers or non residents coming out to Spain. It all depends on getting the numbers down. We have friends that really want to come out but are not arranging anything until the go ahead is given

Hi
Regarding cancelled flights, we have a house in Campoverde and had one flight cancelled in May :( and then are due out again on 9 July for nearly 3 weeks (flying out on a Thursday and back home on a Sunday). We have 2 lots of friends coming over to see us from the UK, one couple on the 12th and one on the 15th. Whilst their flights out are still available, they have had their flights cancelled as, now I've looked into it more, there are no return flights on Wednesdays (the day they were both coming back) for the whole of July flying to East Midlands. This is presumably why they have had their flights cancelled altogether although they weren't advised of this. We are going to see if ours is still on for the 9th July and they will then rebook if possible. Not sure why Wednesdays was picked out but this obviously lessening the amount of flights, just a shame it was when our friends were booked to come home. I'm sure we'll get there soon but really cant wait as we haven't been in Spain since February .
Keep well and keep the sun shining!!
Julia
