My Lawyer is Spanish, but I have found him to be brilliant. I bought my property in La Zenia 2015 and he set up my bank acount, utility connections etc. To this day, I still ask him the odd question or two and he is always prompt and very helpful. He was recommended to me by my friend who used to sell property in Spain and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others. If you are interested, I can provide contact details.

What Bank did you open your Account with? As some Banks take high charges and they expect you to put in x amount of money?

Originally, my bank account was with Sabadell. They are fine, apart from charging 40euro per quarter, for the privilege. I opened an N26 online account last year, which has zero charges and have been seeing how it performs. Its been great, so last week, I permanently closed my Sabadell account, saving me 160euro per year.
N26 have no branches, so all online, but that is working great for me.

Sun have had plenty of recommendations on this forum but it also appears that they also represent your agent hence the advice to find your own.
My own Solicitor at Solmed is English speaking(Scotish) I would highly recommend them.
We used sun lawyers they were very good and professional
