Never, ever use Goldcar, absolute bandits. I use Sixt and Hertz, not the cheapest but by far the best.

we always used to video the car on pick up, doesn't take long and shuts them up!

I've often used Goldcar - always video the car when I pick it up and never had an issue.

...any can take if there is damage etc (usually a depodit of 1100€). Otherwise Doyouspain will cover you fully comp for around £60 a week. I hired a small car last week for about £60 for 10 days - more than in previous years.
I would never use doyouspain again.thought I had booked a car with them paid 250 euros it was with Gold cars when at the airport Gold Cars said that doyouspain did not provide excess even though the paperwork show I had paid for it so had to pay them another 250 euros for excess they said doyouspain do it all the time.when I took the car back even with the excess cover they took 20 minutes checking the car over inside and out even using a torch would never use either of these companies again
