I have an account with Bankinter at Villamartin/los dolses.  The phone number I have for that branch is 966764024. Maybe that is some use to you.

Well I am at a total loss now, solicitors agree its difficult with the banks??? they will need power of attorney to help.

Both Bankinter Playa flamenca and villa martin just aren't answering there phones.

So stressful.

If it were me and this is what I did, I would ring the number I gave you, explain due to covid you can't get out to Spain to provide your ID documents ask them to contact the Playa Flamenca branch to request that they email you so that you can provide the same. It might take a day but that is how I got a response.

Hello, we are in Ireland and having the same experience. We emailed Ana as suggested here and got an automated response with her colleague's email address. I noticed that the email address with the message in Spanish had an "r" in it while the English one didn't. I've sent my request for help to Victoria at "[email protected]". 

Is anyone else's head wrecked??

Yes exactly the same situation. At the moment I have contacted our solicitor who is Kindly helping us out. They have Kindly got our paperwork and taken it to the bank in person.Just waiting to hear back.

It has been a struggle to make any contact with Bankinter.

If I get any more information I will let you know ASAP

Hi All,

We are having the same bank issues as this, Bank Inter a nightmare to communicate with. We cannot travel to Spain at the moment but need to update our details regarding the new laws. Our account is blocked from receiving monies. The last time I transferred money from the UK was in July 2022 and it went through fine.
