Mine also came by post, June renewal. If you have the Sabadell app you can activate the new card there without visiting your branch.
Steve
Thanks very much Steve, I do have the app and use it daily. I am not sure why anyone would think that I did not believe you? Post is erratic here in Playa Flamenca, so we are reluctant to trust it. I will certainly write on here in September once I have received it, to let people know what happens.

Hi Sheila,
Apologies as I wasnt referring specifically to your good self. I think what tebo and I were quietly commenting on is the number of occasions on the forum generally where good solid advice is offered and subsequently contradicted, even when it comes from long standing posters who've lived here in Spain for several years. Perhaps it should have been an idea for a new thread rather than posting it on yours.
Kind regards, Steve

I am with sabadell and in my experience they are not posted, you need to go to your branch and sign for them.
Like this Sheila....
Yet two of us have had them posted out 😄

I have just noticed that my debit card expires at the end of September. (I am a resident). Wondering if the bank sends a notification to pick up a new card. I would not like to rely on the post. Anyone out there had a new card recently?
We picked our first cards up at the bank. The replacement ones went to the bank and we were notified that they were there

Thanks.
I am with Sabadell and my cards were posted to my UK address the last time they were renewed. As many people comment on here, it can be usually down to the helpfulness of individuals within organisations rather than a Company policy thing.
