Yes, they had the secret walkway above our sorting office in the U.K. The workers were aware of it though. Most post that goes missing is during the delivery process. I have no reason to distrust Correos workforce, just think that their rounds are probably too big. However, that is no excuse for delivering to the wrong urbanisation.

Agreed that it is in the delivery process, I can remember one guy who technically didn't steal anything, he just was so lazy he filled his roof space at home with unopened mail. Here in Spain, the addressing of mail is a problem as many properties have more than one number, we have one which is on our deeds and a different one for day to day purposes and is used for post. Thankfully we are in a small apartment block and do not have the problems experienced in larger urbanisation. 

Thanks Nicola.  I've tried calling the branch to get an appointment for when we are over, but not managed to speak with anyone yet (just get the message 'the other person has cleared'.  I've also sent another email so will hopefully hear back from them.  I notice in an earlier post you have given a number for Mobile Banking so I'll give that a go as well - thank you

I think I mentioned this but my cards were posted to the UK.

However this was about 3 to 4 years ago.

Their Facebook page has a CHAT facility. They answered a question of mine yesterday and it was late evening. It was a general enquiry about a  Direct Debit I had returned. You could ask them which is the best way to contact your branch, if they can’t answer your query.

Thank you very much Sheila but unfortunately we've had to cancel our trip again. Off to Ballater, Aberdeenshire instead! Will keep in mind the Facebook chat option for next planned trip....3rd time lucky we'll get there.
